Hamilton’s Great Miami River Flood of 1913 Centennial Commemoration ran from March 1 to May 4, 2013, with events organized by the City of Hamilton, Michael J. Colligan History Project, Miami University Hamilton’s Downtown Center, Butler County Historical Society, Lane Libraries, Heritage Hall, the Fitton Center for the Creative Arts, and others. Our thanks to all organizers, volunteers, and participants for creating such a memorable commemoration of the flood, and for the opportunity to reflect on Hamilton’s recovery and future as a river city.
